Fediverse vs Disinformation
Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.
Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.
What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.
By equipping yourself with knowledge of current disinformation campaigns by state actors, corporations and their cheerleaders, you will be better able to identify, report and (hopefully) remove content matching known disinformation campaigns.

They voted on that health care reform and every single DNC voted to pass it, but it came up 1 vote short to get through the filibuster because they only had 60 as a result of caucusing Ind.
literally almost 2 decades ago and outside of the fact most of the leaders in the DNC are the same its fairly immaterial to the current issues.
When we gave them 58 we got results
If we give them 60 we get all of the results
So I say, support them 100%
you do you. I have better things to do with my time than support a group that has literally gone out of its way to not pass legislation that supports working americans.
reminder: fillibusters are a convention not a law. they've always had the ability to pass legislation with simple majorities. They've chosen not to.
if they start proposing and passing effective worker friendly legislation i'll reconsider.
