I followed the map someone posted last week that had a path leading to all of them. It took a couple of hours but I got them all.
To be honest I’m not sure why I bothered, I’ll be moving onto a new character for the new season and I wouldn’t bother grabbing them all again.
I think altars are a game element that follows you into new seasons and characters, so your effort should not be wasted?
Awesome! I didn’t realise that was the case.
Thanks to everyone for clarifying.
Yeah, I read that the altars will still be revealed for future characters but unless I see one on the screen I probably won’t go out of my way to collect them again.
Ok so maybe I'm wrong on this, by my impression is that once revealed, the bonuses from the altars will be with you forever through seasons and what not? It should not be necessary to revisit the altars.
I have heard that some other elements like your potion capacity for example are also permanently unlocked. But I guess we'll find out tomorrow!
Pretty sure this is correct. Alters a map discovery is account wide.
Map isn't for other eternal characters, it may be for seasonal ones.
Okay, patch notes say account wide.
"Altar of Lilith Unlocks are now account wide. Map discovery is now account wide."
The bonuses are unlocked for all characters including season characters. It's a one and done kinda deal
I already have a work I hate. I don't need another one. :-(
That's the point isn't it, now you've done them they're unlocked account wide so all new characters start with the buffs and renown gor them.
That’s the thing, I didn’t realise it applied to all characters, now I do though.
Fair dos, some of how D4 works is quite obtuse. Hence why loads of people thought they'd lose their eternal character progress when the seasons start recently.
