Having a certain diet or political affiliation doesn't make you a good or bad person. Because we all aren't just black and white stereotypes.
Having a certain ethical position that encourages the exploitation and suffering of sentient beings doesnt make you a good or bad person. It's just a quirky 'lil personality trait, obvs. /s
Pol Pot was totally fine with exploitation and suffering of sentient beings, so he wasn't vegan.

It depends on the "diet" or "political affiliation". Some are gray, some are black and white. A fascist political identification, for example, is a signal for "bad guy".
