Hello,

I'm looking for a comm system for my helmet. I have one friend that has a Sena 30K and another with a Cardo Spirit HD. Cardo kind of irks me that they have a model with a subscription service, and I feel that will roll out to the others. Sena is expensive, that's it.

I did find a model called Fodsports FX8 pro. Has anyone used it? It looks promising, and seems like they managed to keep the price down by not having an app.

I've had both, and have settled on the Sena 30K for now due to it being mesh, and Sena just being superior in my opinion. They have a better design with the wheel (I like it) and look slightly better as well.

I've never really had any issues with mine. I have the HD speaker setup as well but I mostly use earbuds with the Sena.
