I've had this appointment scheduled for months, and I am nervous but also very excited. It's finally happening!

My intake appointment was one of the best, most validating conversations I ever had, even though I couldn't actually start anything due to health issues. I hope it feels just as welcoming and comforting for you!

I'm glad it went so well for you, despite not being able to actually start HRT. I also have a few health issues, is it possible I will be ineligible for gender affirming care?

I don't think so. It wasn't that I was ineligible, I just decided that the time wasn't right because I want to be in a more stable place in my health before I added more potential stressors. It was choice I made, not one they forced on me.

Oh gotcha, that makes sense. Your health is most important. I hope you're doing better now! Thank you for your reply!
