Lemmy feels a bit like the old internet. Where it wasn’t all about algorithms and advertisements.
I actually started using RSS again some time ago.
Maybe we’re going full circle one day and start using newsgroups again.
I did set up a serverr setup that used the usenet as a means of indexing and downloading content, and it was cheap and fucking awesome, so we're halfway there.
