Or after a lifetime of being screwed over again and again, at one point you just don't give a shit and keep working, keep organizing, keep fighting, keep resisting even if you know at the end of the day, you're going to lose anyway. You keep fighting in the hopes that the next person behind you has a better chance of saving themselves.

I'm Indigenous Canadian and I've never really know it but I understand it more and more as I grow older. I don't fight or resist in order to win for myself ... I fight and resist to make the fight easier for the next person behind me. I never knew it and I never saw it before but now I understand ... the people I saw fight and lose all my life, were doing it so that my fight is not as hard.

Always resist ... no matter the outcome.
