Hi everyone, I hope this community will help me. I recently got a new PC, and was excited to try a few games on it. My setup is a MSI katana 17 B13VGK, with a RTX4070, i7 13620H, and 32Go RAM. By my understanding, I should be able to run this with maxed out settings in 1080p without any issue, when I tried RDR2, I was barely getting 10 fps mean on the performance test. The game is set to my dedicated GPU and not the integrated one, and any tweaks I tried (deleting pipeline files) did not change anything.

If you have any ideas, I'm open to anything that could help me enjoy this game ! Thanks in advance

I've been stuck in troubleshooting hell before. It sucks.

Plus RD2 is a fantastic game so I wanted to make sure you got to enjoy it lol.

Have fun with it.

I hadn't had this much trouble since making Battle for Middle Earth 2 work on windows 10 a few years back. I'll be sure to play the hell out of this now that it works :)

I'm fairly tech savvy as I've been working in and around the IT space for most of my adult life but even I occasionally run into stuff I cannot fix for the life of me.

No matter what I did I could never get PUBG to run smoothly for me. I literally built 3 different PCs. Moved twice. 3 different internet connections from two different providers. If I ever "hot dropped" I could not loot anything for the first few seconds. My friends never had this issue. But when we would land I would often pick up a gun and ammo and when I went to shoot someone else the gun and all the ammo would teleport outta my hands and onto the floor. To this day I am convinced that I just had a ghost following me around fucking with me over that particular issue. I never got it fixed and eventually I moved onto other games.
