Cis person comes on to a post about trans people being rounded up in preparation for their human rights to be removed demanding to be educated about a subject that has been discussed and written about millions of times by millions of people all of which are available at the tip of his finger, gets told "NO", and somehow he is the victim that is under "attack".
Fucking typical.
GTFOH
Like I said it was an annoying request, I'm not about to argue that it wasn't. And your anger is perfectly fucking understandable right now, but please don't waste your energy getting worked up over shit like this - that guy was somewhat tactless, probably because nobody has told him how to be tactful about asking questions and he's new in communities like this, but otherwise he's harmless.
I've been through this shit before, and oh boy is it not easy. One of the most important things you can do is remember that this is a community and that we have to look out for all of us first, even if that includes shutting up and letting the slightly-tactless-but-very-polite aussie pass by uncontested. Look we're solidly losing a war to even be recognized as human right now, hypervigilance is pretty understandable. But as useful as it can be in some situations, it'll burn you out faster than you'd believe. If you do that to yourself now, we won't have you around to keep us safe when we really need you. There are more than enough people to stand up for here in this community, people who actually need you because they can't stand up for themselves. I promise, this is a waste of your time, energy and emotion.
