Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I feel like as a guy that's been gaming since floppy disks I have seen them slowly change from floppy's to a hard drive symbol more often. Hell I think I have played games where the save icon was a flash drive.
I know it had its downsides but I kinda miss physical media. There was just something nice about shoving a VHS into the VCR and listening to it clunk and whir before your family watched a movie together.
turns out, the inconvenience was part of what made it good.
the biggest benefit was you had limited selection, easy choices. my Plex has 5000 movies, deciding what to watch can be a chore if you don't have a system.
I watched SPEED and Judgement Night over and over at my aunt's during the summer, wore out the tapes. easily two of my favorite movies.
I have lost count of how many movie nights start with 15 minutes of choice paralysis lol.
Back when my friends and I didn't regularly we had a rule that the movie had to be a movie that at least one person in the group hadn't already seen and then we just put everyones choice for the night into a random number picker and let RNG choose the movie we were watching that night.c
