I don't think I'd watch the English dub. It's probably very easy to catch that I'm not a native speaker and I've never watched any official Dragon Ball release in English - I'm not even familiar with the Faulconer score people like to rave about.
However, if Super was to return, I'd like to give the manga a shot. Could be a fun community activity to read a few chapters each week leading up to a new release. If the anime specifically was to return, reading/watching both could be fun too.
I can't tell at all that you aren't a native speaker. I would love to do a manga reading. I haven't heard anything new about when it is coming back yet
