They can't afford to have a rookie. They need drivers with experience that can help develop the car.

But rookies are usually heavily funded by sponsors. They need an experienced driver ánd the money.

That only works if they listen to the drivers.

Unfortunately they need money for that more. A rookie will cost them less than two decent pilots.

Plus the team is perpetually underfunded, the team is a major let down for me.

They should nab Felipe Drugovich. Dude is just rotting at AM until Alonso leaves.
