1. Be Civil.

Users are expected to be civil and inclusive towards one another at all times. Remember the person on the other side of the screen. Hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and other inflammatory language is prohibited.

2. Keep content related to wrestling.

Any content posted should at least be related to pro wrestling somehow.

3. Spoilers.

Do not spoil events for people. If an event is going on, please keep discussion contained to the/a discussion thread for 24h after the event. Do not post spoilers in titles during this period. Use the spoiler function when you need to, it's there for a reason. Should your post involve a url to a spoiler (Twitter, YouTube video, etc) please mark the thread as NSFW as well so thumbnails are blurred.

4. Vague/Editorialized Title.

Please keep the titles of any articles you post clear, understandable, and indicative of what the article states within. It's ok to alter the title if the original is clickbait and confusing, or contains a spoiler like a debut that just occurred that day, but do not add your own thoughts to it.

5. Sexualized Content/'Plot'.

Please do not post any pornographic, 'creep shot', or similar adult-related material to the community (regardless of connection to wrestling). Wrestling content that involves sexualized content (in storylines/matches/promos) is fine, as well as photo's wrestlers post to their own social medias. Butt-shots you take with your cell phone at a house show aren't.

6. Banned Source(s)/Websites.

Due not necessarily to the content of their reporting, but to their harassing and doxxing of users, the following news sources, journalists, and content creators are not permitted to be posted on SquaredCircle in any context - including direct links, articles, social media, and reports that cite only those sources:

  • WrestleVotes
  • RingSideNews
  • Brad Shepard
  • Billi Bhatti and "The Dirty Sheets"
  • Any post or article citing one of the above as a primary source.

Also due to technical issues, bigotry/extremism, and various other issues, we do not accept URL submissions from the following websites:

Going forward, we will not be allowing direct links to Twitter/X posts here on SquaredCircle. *

There's no need to be driving traffic to Twitter at this point, let's be honest. For those without accounts it's a mess to try and use, it doesn't embed properly, plus a large number of wrestlers and companies have moved over to Bluesky (tho sadly not all of course). Plus ya know..everything else.

Should anyone have news/something funny/etc to post from Twitter/X please:

A) Use a url replacer (such as https://nitter.poast.org/, or http://xcancel.com/, just replace the corresponding part of the URL)
B) Find the comparable post on Bluesky and post that (e.g. Fightful posts, which are posted in both locations)
C) Post a screenshot of the post instead. (Either in the original post, or a comment, or whereever works).

It's obviously hard to avoid using it entirely until all wrestlers/wrestling media does, but it's at least the first step.

* I know this probably affects me much more than any of you as I post everything but still lol~

Not the first downvote I've gotten, not the last. Β―\_(ツ)_/Β― I'll be able to live.

Meltzer, yes, hasn't been banned. Meltzer also (seemingly) isn't a white supremacist/nazi with his own platform that barely works if you don't have an account, which stops you from seeing replies without an account, which doesn't embed without an account, etc.

Also the amount of Meltzer posts made here (where the information has not already been reported/verified by others) is absolutely minimal and has been for many months. The last WON/F4W post was 30 days ago (Bandido's injury)/AEW's TV deal. You have to go back 2 months to find the one prior to those (Juice's injury). I purposely do my best not to post unconfirmed Meltzer news here, so I'm not sure what kind of comparison you think you're trying to push through here. Twitter/X urls are posted daily, Meltzer links are not.

Well the amount of people who post Twitter url's here is me, myself and I. I can go back 2mo (which is as far as I please for this scenario) and the number of people who make threads with Twitter links besides me is nil.

If someone isn't willing to take the 11 seconds to Nitter-fy the URL or just take a shitty screenshot of the post and post it instead, then that someone has an alternative option already: Not posting Twitter links at all, and going on with their day. I'm the laziest son of a bitch you can find and if I can do it, you can too lol.

You're supposed to be on the floor unable to console yourself with how dumb someone on the internet whom you don't know finds this.

Well the amount of people who post Twitter url's here is me, myself and I. I can go back 2mo (which is as far as I please for this scenario) and the number of people who make threads with Twitter links besides me is nil.

While I don't make posts often I can see on three occasions I have used it to make a topic. One of which was at 3mo ago with WWE releases, and another at 4mo ago with the new NXT design.

You've also been at this long enough to know Musk keeps trying to break nitter and it was almost gone for a bit there. Screen shots are also easily faked.

Not posting Twitter links at all, and going on with their day.
