  Gov. Katie Hobbs’ proposed $17.7 billion state budget includes $886 million in one-time spending - an increase of more than $1 billion over last year’s bipartisan state budget of $16.1 billion - though Republicans say they have “a long way to go” on a serious and responsible budget.

Sounds like a good thing.. afaik. Seems like it was ripe for abuse. Bet it was nice for the rich folks. Hopefully they'll support "handouts" for others too
