United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in [email protected] or [email protected]
More serious politics should go in [email protected].
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Yeah, but do they check the vehicles too or just the occupants and what's in the vehicle? I've never actually used either so not sure how it works.
If you rock up to border control in a Cybertruck truck any half decent agent will have alarm bells going off in their mind and most likely will stop you. I think a lot of people know the Cybertruck is an illegal vehicle in the UK.
Furthermore, once you reach the other side you would be driving an illegal vehicle instantly. I’d say on the ferry you have pretty much no chance of getting past border control as the UK border control is actually in the UK. However, the channel tunnel the border control is in France so if you get passed that somehow and onto the train you are free.
