Rogan is one of the dumbest people on the planet and got famous making people eat blended rats on TV.
How the hell did we get to a place where we're looking to him for legitimate journalism?
Follower count equals legitimacy
A generation of people used a comedian for news, and now they are mad it's a different comedian.
One of them is an uncritical moron. The other one actually made some salient points on occasion.
He was a first mover on podcasts, and already being a reality TV celebrity he got a lot of big guests early on.
He has never claimed to be a legitimate journalist. He has said repeatedly that you shouldn't take him too seriously - he's a cage fight commentator after all.
Maybe he should shut his mouth instead of just spewing stupid and obvious lies instead of hiding behind lazy shields like I'm NoT a LeGiTiMaTe JoUrNaLiSt or I'm JuSt AsKiNg QuEsTiOnS?
I hate how people defend stupid celebs spewing obvious lies like this.
I'm sure you're never wrong about anything. Maybe you should start a podcast.

If people didn't take him seriously this article wouldn't need to exist.
..and? We can't have people having public conversations online then because some might take it too seriously? I don't see how this is a criticism towards Joe.
