It's still wild to me how he got hired in the first place. At least the firing matched, I suppose? So brutal though, Helmut sounds like he literally made these decisions in real time, which seems so nutso to me in the world of data that is F1.
Nyck was a stop gap after Gasly left. Likely hopeful they could use his experience for car development. But he was never going to have a long term at the team.
