Need help for networking (self.ELI5)

so, here's the thing. one of bedroom in my house is not reachable by my wifi signal,

so. ive been thinking can i connect my main router to second router? and after that, can i connect my laptop to second router and get internet connection?

You would want a wifi repeater/range extender since that would probably be the easiest solution. A second router is doable but pretty complicated for someone who doesn’t know a lot about networking.
