Remember that time President Carter arranged to free the hostages, then Ronald Reagan snuck in and had Iran wait on announcing their release until he was inaugurated, so that he could claim credit?

Except no one prevented Biden from ending the genocide, making the comparisons incoherent.

I was responding to a comment claiming that trump sent his emissaries to doha to broker a ceasefire.
As in trump is taking credit. I said nothing about Biden.
That just makes it even fucking worse that the Democrats continued to send tens of billions of dollars to Israel, deploy the US military to assist them, and block every diplomatic attempt to stop them.
Can you imagine is Carter kept repeatedly swearing his allegiance to Iran during the hostage crisis?
it's an american empire thing; even the liberals on .world deleted the post rather than accept that the genocide had anything to do with it.
