Internet as an art

Rule 1: All post titles except for meta posts should be just plain "hmmm" and nothing else, no emotes, no capitalisation, no extending it to "hmmmm" etc.

I will introduce more rules later and when I finish doing that I will make an announcement post about that.

For overall temporary guide check out the rules here: https://www.reddit.com/r/hmmm/wiki/rules/

I won't be moving all of them here but I will keep most of them.

Well, the article states that they are looking to charge him with femicide. According to Wikipedia:

Femicide or feminicide is a hate crime which is broadly defined as "the intentional killing of women or girls because they are female", with definitions varying based on cultural context. In 1976, the feminist author Diana E. H. Russell first defined the term as "the killing of females by males because they are female." A spouse or partner is responsible in almost 40% of homicides involving a female victim.[1] Additionally, femicide may be underreported.[2] Femicide often includes domestic violence and forced or sex-selective abortions.[3]

The way he killed her and stuffed her body in a suitcase is just super messed up. Just a yikes all around. I doubt whatever motive he had is at all comprehensible

“Yikes” is the kindest description of a murder/body dump I’ve heard to date

Yeah, I probably wouldn't date him after finding out about that.

My first reaction when I read the full headline was "oof".

Lmao I honestly couldn’t think of a better reactionary term. But I’m sure we’re all a bit desensitized at this point, so that’s probably a factor

I DID read that🤦🏿‍♂️ and of course, super messed up. I just figured there was some sort of incident or catalyst to make him do that after several months
