I really like valve and would rather give them my money. I owned a steam controller and it worked for six years of hard use before it died. Now I'm on my second ps5 controller in two years and its shit comparatively.

The deck is repairable which makes it better than any of the garbage released or to be released handhelds. Honestly I don't really trust the others to make anything but planned obsolescence.
