๐Ÿน All things archery! No matter what bow or discipline.

It's about sports not hunting (as in "killing animals")!

My oldest just turned 9 and is interested in archery. I managed to find my Bear Cub compound bow from storage but it's been a long time since I did anything like this.

Looking for resources first priority is teaching safety, second would be pointers for technique. Any and all advice is appreciated.

I second this, no advice can be useful without a region. In the USA I would say Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts of America) is the go-to community. Where do you shoot? A club or your own private property?

Will be shooting on our property for now (5 acres in the woods). In the US. I'm looking more for teaching materials rather than physical resources.

I would strongly advice to go to a local club. Especially in the US the infrastructure is superb. ๐Ÿ™Œ
