What uhhh, what do you think "aid" is? We give them X money and they buy Y American made weapons with it.

When was aid like that provided to Israel? I cannot recall that happening. They're buying weapons with their own money. Doesn't make it ok to sell weapons to someone committing genocide, but it is not free aid either.

They are not buying with their own money. Whoever told you that is lying to you.

That is certainly not true. From the article itself: "which Israel had purchased from Boeing with Israeli funds". So they do buy with their own money. But far less then I assumed.

What I missed was that the US provides aid, with the caveat that Israel has to spend it on US weapons. So they are buying from the US, but with US money.
