Well, he is a well-known independent journalist with an extensive track record of reporting what the establishment and the status quo do not want to talk about.

I see the true 'grifters for hire' being the 'journalists' that continue to be hired by the establishment due to what views they hold and not because of their reporting.

This goes back to being highly critical of the government, politicians, and the mainstream media talking points.

Aaron Maté has been a vocal journalist for decades on what has been going on in the Middle East and Israel.

Aaron Mate also supports russia's genocidal imperialist agenda (in committed and genuine way).

The "the status quo" also does not want to talk about the possibility of earth being flat. Doesn't mean arguing for the flat earth automatically makes you some sort of authority.
