Don't all smart phones pretty much have amber alert reception built in natively at this point?
Yep, turned off that shit the moment I get a new phone. Like what do they expect me to do? Drive around playing vigilante?
As someone with bad noise sensitivity, I better be seconds away from a nuclear suntan when my phone makes that goddamn noise.
Yes but at least in California, details are posted by CHP (or maybe other law enforcement organizations) on Twitter. Every time I’ve clicked an Amber Alert notification, it sent me straight to Twitter.
My point is, not all the relevant information is posted in the notification you received on your device.
