What is a demake?

A demake is a Game that's purposefully built as if it where conceived and produced during a previous hardware or software generation.

Rules:

All post in some form should be related to the community topic at hand, may it be directly talking about demakes or adjacently.

Holy shit this is one of my favourite games! Inscryption is a game I can't really put into words, it's just a phenomenonal and unique experience that puts it in my all-time favorite list with Subnautica and Outer Wilds, to name a few.

You don't even have to like deckbuilding roguelikes to enjoy this game. It's a psychological thriller with many twists and turns, and will 100% catch you off guard a few times just for the sheer creativity of this game.

Now let me get off my soapbox and check out this demake.

Edit: oh. From the page: map only, no music, no battles, no npc's, no puzzles. I guess I'll keep tabs on this one for now.
