Black Myth: Wukong's director has appeared to contradict Microsoft, stating the game's Xbox delay is due to the Series S's memory limitations. This is something that the Xbox maker has previously denied.

Hm... A Eurogamer article quoting a translation from a ResetEra post. Not sure on how accurate the translation is. Almost like quoting from Reddit or Lemmy, I would never outright trust a ResetEra post to be accurate.

Though I am kinda shocked ResetEra still even has users anymore. I thought they must have banned everyone by now.

I wouldn't be shocked to hear that the Series S RAM is limiting Game Science, however. It is their first console game, and Sony helped them for probably a year to launch on PlayStation. I would imagine (whether a deal was made or not) this meant the Xbox version was delayed even further than originally planned. Now take the fact that the game isn't likely at its most optimized state with regards RAM usage and slap it onto a low spec device, of course it isn't going to be easy. Duh. But since Sony partially money-hatted this game, I can't see Microsoft prioritizing helping these devs over other studios also working to put games on their platform.

Its not like developers haven't put their games on both Series S and X before, afterall.
