Next few days? For the next whole year! Why do you think gyms make their memberships so difficult to leave?
Seems like something that's mostly just an issue in the US. I just went online and cancelled my gym membership, it was like 3 clicks and I got a confirmation email of which day was the last day of the membership. Never heard from them since.
At least in Germany most gyms have 2 year contracts, if you want to be able to cancel your membership monthly you usually pay about twice as much
Gym owners bank on the fact that 90% of their customers never show up.
Right, because they sign up at the beginning of the year and show up for three days.
