This was one of my dad’s favorite albums. We used to listen to it often in his car on trips.
He died in November.

My parents had a copy oof the CD in a big tub in our mini van for road trips. The album was a run away commercial success despite it's departure from industry norms. Simon has always done a great job of finding the universal truths in musoc from across the world and presenting it in a way for everyone to understand.
I'm sorry about the passing of your dad. My parents are reaching the age where i worry about them as well. I have so much music in my collection that reminds me of them, which is comforting when i miss them, but also funny when i start to get teary eyed listening to something that reminds me of them.
