My god.....Nintendo are taking down a video, showing how to inject code into a gamecube memory card, to run roms on either a gamecube, or original wii, using the first animal crossing disc.

This method will NOT be some hail mary that gets people to start using emulators. If they want to play an NES rom, this will NOT be the first way they try.

This is just Nintendo being petty.

Anyone capable of doing this likely already has advanced skills in emulator set-up and ROM-finding.

Likely? They ABSOLUTELY would know. It's like saying that anyone driving a F1 race car has likely gotten a drivers liscense.

Capable and interested.

I could show it to a technically-inclined non-gamer and they'd be able to replicate it given the right tools, haha
