In their defense it was supposed to be a spin off show but the studio forced them to play it as if it was another season. It wasn't bad, not as good as Scrubs but I was entertained.

This is the crux of the problem. "I wanna make a spinoff to this popular show." "NO IT MUST BE THE NEXT SEASON" "I want to make a new show that's like this 20 year old one but for modern audiences" "NO IT MUST BE A REBOOT"

brand identity is one hell of a drug.

I didn't like it, the new main character was just a female JD but without the charm.
