The box does clearly state play time of 45m per player, not sure why you'd ever think it's quick
I didn't. But if it takes 45 minutes to play, then it'll take even longer to read and interpret the instructions, then play, and I haven't wanted to do that yet.
I recommend watching a YouTube video together of how to play. Most are 10-15 minutes. I like reading the rules and teaching the game, but you're adding a couple hours if you do that with this game.
