On Reddit, true crime subs pop up after every big story.

I don't understand their absolute ban on posting the manifesto, or the desperation to silence users speculation, or suspending Luigi's user account even though he has not been proven guilty of anything. What's going on over there?

That's the beauty of federation though. Can just not be on Lemmy.world if you disagree with the moderation of that instance

There will always be instances that are harsher than reddit even
