I couldnt find an ifixit page for the pinetime probably because the device is currently not as well known. I was wondering how replacing the battery is like.

The battery is just connected with a simple cable so replacing it is very easy. The tougher challenge will be to open and more importantly close the device so it becomes water resistant again. Consider asking pine64 support if they have any advice or check the forum. https://Pine64.org

I recently did that. you need the D7000 (or D6000 or E6000) rubber glue that is uesed for phoenes as well. quite cheap on ebay

Huh, great to know.

I was considering machining a custom ceramic back for mine but was also worried about properly re-sealing the device.
