Is it really a comic when it’s an AI generated image with a cliché drooled onto the surface?

Out of interest, to demonstrate that AI art is dumb and theft, here’s something DALLE spat out that looks identical…

…because this sticker was probably in their training data:

Or who knows? Maybe that’s not the ur-text here, maybe THAT person used DALLE and the original artist is lost in all the noise?

All I know is this thing I’m looking at here is kak.

Not a bad point. But I’d probably say that memes are created with the intent of their being shared wantonly. I might create some work without that intention and find it’s been fed to the GUHPUHTUH monster, tho.
