Johnson said Wednesday morning that he had been texting overnight with Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy about the bill.

What in the fuck. The new administration hasn’t taken office yet and these two aren’t even elected or appointed to government positions. Why are they telling the speaker what to do? \rhetorical question

If a bill has to be passed before Trump is president, he doesn’t get a say just because he’ll be in office in a month.
