Are their Windows binaries safe to use? I don't have the knowledge to compile it myself.

I compile them myself, but have been telling family to just use the binaries since, they can't do the compile themselves, so far I don't think I've seen any weird traffic compared to my own self compiled ones.

I also recommend iridium which is more strict and Bromite which is less
