Excellent news, but it's painful how little the guards were asking, and that they had to strike to get it. $23.25 per hour, in Seattle.
That's really not much after taxes, social security, and L&I. I think if you live in Seattle proper you should make minimum $30, which would make your take home closer to $22 (fudging some numbers).
You've got my vote for mayor.
