plenty of house cats survive just fine in the wild. its actually something of a problem. please leave house cats out of this.
Yeah, its actually well known that some places actually ask you NOT to let your cat outside as they destroy local wildlife.
My house cat once went and hid under the bed because he was approached by an inquisitive guinea pig. I don't think he's surviving in the wild.
To be fair, I've seen boars lay a person's hand open to the bone when she tried to break up a fight
