My son got into chess recently and I told him about this game. I was surprised to see that there hasn't been some sort of remake of this game, since I loved it when I was growing up!

There actually is an "official" remake also published by Interplay but it's unfortunately not very good and I really can't recommend it at its current price: https://store.steampowered.com/app/200150/Battle_Chess_Game_of_Kings
