Ive heard some rumors that it is possible to fake the app ID and/or useragent to make reddit servers think youre using their app.
I hope he will try that route just to fuck with them.
Sounds like a short term solution, but it's worth it just to cause Spaz some grief.
I did see something about that in the ReVanced subreddit and the Sync app.
