What if I told you that both russia and usa are pieces of shit, imperialists with their foreign policies?

Sure usa loves to break deals and invade other countries, its a fucking war crime. But russia could have been the moral high ground (yeah looking at their more recent conservative laws, I doubt it, but there could have been the better timeline) but lets go over countries that russia also invaded since 1990s

1991–1993 Georgian Civil War
1991–1992 South Ossetian War
1992–1993 War in Abkhazia
1992 Transnistria War
1992–1997 Tajikistani Civil War
1994–1996 First Chechen War (they lost this one)
1999 War of Dagestan
1999–2009 Second Chechen War
2008 Russo-Georgian War

Does this seem familiar with usa invasions? Who also invade for "muh freedom... but mostly oil"

Given the context of all these invasions, if you were an ex-soviet state bordering russia, how safe would you feel now? Does it not explain why eastern block countries wanted to join nato? The first block of eastern states like poland, hungary ect were 1991. The estonia, latvia, ect group was 1999. If I were in those smaller countries, i'd be fucking happy that when... yes WHEN not if, they get invaded, at least there would be some payback eventually.

I am kinda under no impression that those countries can put up any kind of meaningful resistance with their pretty small populations for the pre-2022 russia, but being part of nato was at least some kind of deterrent.

You should also probably have a look at articles about strategic reserves of metals and oil https://www.businesstoday.in/latest/world/story/are-ukraines-vast-natural-resources-a-real-reason-behind-russias-invasion-323894-2022-02-25

Ukraine's breakaway territories in the Donbass region have abundant natural resources and, thus, make the area economically very feasible for the future. Lithium fields in Ukraine are concentrated in Zaporizhzhia oblast (Kruta Balka area), Donetsk (Shevchenkivske field), and Kirovohrad (Polokhivske field, Dobra area).

Ukraine has the second-biggest known gas reserves in Europe, apart from Russia's gas reserves in Asia, although largely unexploited. In terms of natural gas, the country has around 1.09 trillion cubic meters, which is an incredible amount. Picture this, it's sufficient to be stretched around the earth several times. This is second only to Norway's known resources of 1.53 trillion cubic meters.

Some estimates indicate that up to 20 per cent of the proven world reserves of titanium ores are situated in Ukraine.

Oh what do you know, these are the areas of ukraine that russia wants... What a fucking surprise. So maybe, just maybe we should stop blaming nato expansion for what really is one dictatorship desire to return to the "golden age" of ussr and countries stuck in the middle not wanting to be ruled by a self imposed dictator and choosing although I agree, flawed, but at least some kind of relative self governance of the west.

Put yourself in shoes of ex-eastern block countries after 50+ years of "communism" and see if you really want to come back to that world.

PS: what kind of bollocks is it that sovereign countries have to remain "neutral" do they not have any rights to self determination?

Each of those wars would have distinct reasons I'm not closely familiar with. CIA agitation and a significant Russian population in those places were certainly factors, before digging.

Ukraine has natural resources in new Russia territory, and so that proves Russia is making a land grab.

This I know to be complete BS. There were clear reasonable red lines for the naziCIA pig filth to avoid the SMO, and keep all of those resources for US/Ukraine. Missing from Sach's history review is the Minsk accord peace process which dragged on for 5+ years, but 1 fundamentally useful proof provided by western participation is Ukraine had/has a nazi problem committing evil.

What makes your narrative the usual demonic confessing lie projected as an accusation by empire loyalists is:

  1. Corrupt Empire privatization deals for oil started shortly after 2014 US coup.

  2. Ukraine also raise the transit fees for Russian NG sent to Europe to extortionary levels.

  3. Nordstream 2 project gets designed and funded overnight, not because Europe needs more gas volume, but because of Ukraine's extortion rates. This is also Russia finding a peaceful solution to Ukraine problem. Germany and Europe also seeking escape from CIA domination.

  4. The blatant threats made against Germany/EU starting when project announced, provoking the war when Nord2 opens, and culminating with its humiliating sabotage proves this is a US war on western Europe. US got 1 year's worth of extortion priced LNG sales as a result. Complete colonial subservice by colonies for the war on the colonies.

By far, the power of disinformation/NED has created the most humiliating subservience of vassals that are not officially colonies with directly appointed governors in history. NED invalidates the idealist fiction of democracy.

This is a US provoked war for resource control. Less about the opportunity to spend development money to make 10%-15% money, but for US to spend money to make war for destabilization benefits of keeping its existing controlled resources more profitable... as usual in US provoked wars.

Put yourself in shoes of ex-eastern block countries after 50+ years of “communism

Sure. Hate against the country most responsible for agreeing to your freedom should reign. The populism for hate and historical retibution makes the disinformation of democracy an easy path. That doesn't change in the slightest the point that the only possible threat to eastern block of Europe is that hate fueled provocation, as it was with Ukraine.

what kind of bollocks is it that sovereign countries have to remain “neutral” do they not have any rights to self determination?

Canada could join BRICS and get paid to host Russian/Chinese/Iranian missile bases pointed at US. It is currently not even allowed to sell resource development projects to Chinese companies. It has been forced to duplicate US tariff structures without even consulting China on any negotiation to avoid them. Canada, for its own good, needs to be respectful of US. There used to be a limit on its subservience. Canada's subservience is forced by a demonic evil empire. Empire sycophants telling you/me that new colonies should be integrated into demonic hegemony (while calling it sovereign freedom), do so hypocritically, while refusing the neutrality/liberation of existing colonies, much less their freedom to join the anti-demonic resistance.
