Its annoying, but someone has to compete against Microsoft. MS is buying everything in preparation for the streaming era and we need a company that's big enough to offer a second service. And to everyone praising the gamepass, as soon as MS beats Sony, they'll increase the prices AF.
This is way more than just competing against MS because Kadokawa is way more than a game publisher. Reuters framing it from a FromSoftware perspective makes the issue seem way smaller.
Would help if Microsoft actually releases some games every now and then and not shut down the studios that bring success
Sony is already beating MS. We do not need more consolidation of companies.
Look at POS ps5pro that Sony just dropped because they are lacking in competition.
