Is this sort of stuff even possible now with all of the AI, cameras, location tracking, and that sort of stuff?
Yes. You alone aren't tracked. Ditch your phone if you're running. Infrastructure tends to not do great under fascism, and a little sabotage can accelerate that.
When it's now 4x the cost to replace that security camera you keep shooting , they might not bother
