Someone elsewhere on Lemmy is berating me for daring to take advantage of my dual citizenship and fleeing to the UK with my queer daughter rather than staying in the U.S. and fighting.
Because that worked out so well for queer people in Nazi Germany.
I need to find a dual citizenship gay boyfriend...
Sent my family to Sweden last year, did not want them here for this. She's on the spectrum (but actually doing amazing there).
I have never in my entire life had a plan go so perfectly.
Don't know what you do for a living, and the economy in the UK ain't hot.
Might I recommend Wisconsin? I know it doesn't seem like its that different, but I found it rather like a far better version of Indiana, and it's not far away.
It's close enough. She's never been in the closet and the internet is forever.
Sure the UK economy is bad, but like I said- no conversion therapy.
