Cis-het guy here. I like both in games. I understand the thin strap thing has "magic defense" or whatever, but if that's the case, why do I never see men wearing it? Conversely, if the non-magical steel armor works, why don't the women ever wear it?

That's a great question! Surely, the strap thing could fit under the armor
