What is a ruin? We’re running off of “You know it when you see it” at the moment. Ruins should be non-functioning structures of some age, or their function reduced to tourism and the like.

Genuinely amazing. The hill is thought to be artificial, too.

I think the Trial Before Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar (1973) was shot at the Herodium, slightly ironically. The web says Beit She'an, but nothing marries up for that scene.
