He's been banned from the community until the election, so I'm not sure if there's a reason to continue this one.

UM hasn’t shown his face in here but rest assured he’ll be banned if he shows up. This community is intended to be quite similar to the other politics community but with the added philosophy that we look at users’ intent in addition to their compliance with the rules.

As we see with UM it’s quite possible to abide by /Politic’s rules and still be toxic to the community. UM’s intent is not to engage in honest discussion and debate. Therefore he and those with similar nefarious purposes are not welcome here.

All that said, we do encourage honest debate and different views, recent posts notwithstanding. The goal is not to silence conservative views, it’s to silence trolls.
