Every generation had slang, I see no issues with this

Yeah I agree. I did see an article talking about how it’s changing a lot more rapidly than other generations, so I think we’ll see a lot more variation in the slang.

I don't think that's true. There's a great video here that highlights the fact that even a lot of modern slang is far older than you think.
