What is a good word for a group of magical spiders (actromantula)?
I know there is a collective noun for spiders, but I am trying to come up with one for magical spiders.
I mean someone came up with flange for gibbons back in the 80s. And that stuck.
Also is acromantula a collective noun or a single one? Is it acromantulas? ("They were out walking when twenty acromantulas surrounded them" or "They were out walking when twenty acromantula surrounded them"? I realise if you are surrounded by that many horse sized magical spiders it probably doesn't matter if you use the singular or plural because you're going to be dead either way but -- you know -- it's fun to speculate!)
